Sometimes I do a mental scan of my closet the night before and pick out an outfit from my inventory of clothes.
And days like today...
I just winged it.
It worked for me.
I hadn't worn this sweater or these boots in a while.
So I asked myself how I could tie the two together.
The scarf was a no-brainer, (and to think, I ALMOST swapped it out for leoaprd...but I liked the texture of the one I'm wearing more, so it made the cut) ...
I could have gone with a more vivid-colored top, but I didn't find one I liked. Thus I played it safe with my stand-by gray tee...
I love them. And they love me right back with their versatility!
I felt breezy and free all day... with an element of edge that the boots added...
I mean c'mon, these boots are the sassiest 2inch kitten heels I've worn in a while.
They remind me of how I'd like thigh-high boots to fit, the way they escalate up my legs in a perfect sort of way...

I do the same thing most nights to think about what I'm going to wear to work. Since starting my blog, I'm kind of obsessed about it a little. Ugh!
