Throwing Caution in the Wind...

One thing that I was cautious of being a thick girl is bathing suits.

Then through the wonderful world of blogging, my perspective changed. I got to see all women of different shapes and sizes showcase bathing suits, as opposed to one body type dominating beach wear.
How inspiring!

Now, I don't care about flouncing around in a one piece, or for that matter, clothes that I was once self conscious about...
 I don't go completely crazy.
But, embracing who I really am requires that I step out of my comfort zone....

Not only with my clothes...

But with my outlook on life too.

So, I am going to share with you two sets of shots in my summer one pieces.

The first were from today.

I went to my friend's birthday party for her son.

We all (the adult women who were in attendance), decided to take a dip ... from the chest down of course as not to get our hair wet.

This second look was actually around the time I celebrated my birthday two months ago.

When things quieted down at my cousin's, I asked her to do a shoot of me by her pool.

This is how the pictures turned out.

  2. Gurl, you did that in both swimsuits!! That green color looks so pretty against your skin. That's my favorite. And the flower cover-up is very pretty!

I'm working on throwing caution to the wind. By the end of July, I think I will be ready to do so. Thanks for the inspiration! =D
