My first instinct was to pair black with this light chambray
shirt-dress. I saw another blogger execute the combo flawlessly and wanted to
give it a whirl.
I thought the juxtaposition of the light hue and the darker
hue would be genius.
However, the shoes I had in mind for the look were a no-go.
So I styled the dress with these chestnut Mary Jane’s.
That was MUCH BETTER.
& my coif was quite ratchet so this cute fedora adorned
my crown & glory…
I love how shoes that are close to one’s skin tone elongate the
legs!
These shoes do for my
feet & legs what the perfect shade of foundation does for the face…
Not to mention they are comfortable so
I could sashay in
them without doing the Stank (my feet hurt so bad) Walk…
Leopard Fedora: Rue 21
(I think Imma go with my structured
hats…the softer ones aren’t as flattering on me, in my opinion)
Large Silver Hoops: Wet Seal
Light Chambray Dress: Old Navy
Chestnut Mary-Janes: Nine West Via Ross
Peanut butter Carry-All: Steve Madden via Ross…
That hat is the bomb!!!!!!
