Casual Chic...

Ticka from the blog Spoon Full of Sugar bought up a great point about fashion blogging.
Keeping it real is important. It makes us relatable as people.
She emphasized, just because a blogger doesn’t find an outfit post-worthy doesn’t mean they shouldn’t post it.
It’s just as important to show people who you are without all the bells and whistles as well.
It can be humbling.

So I decided to take her up on that and show what I wore this weekend.

I’ve wanted to wear this comic-themed shirt since I bought it months ago.
Since it is still scorching hot, I decided to break it out today.

When I tried this muscle tee on in-store I noticed the wide arm openings and how they exposed my bra.

I took this as an opportunity to play with the bright color pallet in the graphic print and throw on a neon orange sports bra. Functional, stylish and comfy all rolled into one!

Jeans somehow did this look an injustice, so I broke out the camo pants.

-My Hulk Face...LOL

…And of course my neon orange chucks to seal the deal!

Like Ticka illustrated, I could have dressed this unsemb up more with my white pointed-toe heels…

Perhaps I will one night for impromptu drinks with the girls.
But for now I feel this look was cool and comfy to run errands with friends.

What are casual staples that frequent your wardrobe for the weekend?

Earrings/Bracelets: Forever 21
Hulk Muscle Tee: Forever 21 (straight size L)
Neon Sports Bra: Hanes Brand via Wal-Mart
Camo Pants: Cato’s
Orange Chucks: Shoe Carnival
Bag: Random Shoe/Accessory Store in the Mall

  3. I love this!!! I read that same sentiment on Corie of It's My Taste blog one day. I truly believe that there is no such thing as non blog post worthy outfits. I think if you wore it's blog post worthy because it's your style period and someone may just be inspired by your simple outfits. My hubby takes my photos so I'm limited to only showing what I wore once a week. I wish I was a full time blogger to post pics everyday lollllllll.
