"Cheers to the Fricken Weekend..."

So...I have had a BUSY week this week, but Friday marked a more laid back day.
I started off with taking some outfit pics before work.

As far as attire goes, I didn't go SUPER CASUAL like last Friday cause the company I work for threw us a Christmas Lucheon.
It was beautiful...
We had it at the Solomon Ortiz Center, which was decked out with everything that festively invoked Christmas cheer!

[The tree above is adorned with gifts that my co-workers donated to those in need...]
I was expecting lunch to be served buffet style.
Boy was I WRONG.
When I found a table, my salad and dessert were already plated.

073

Of course I am a CAKE FANATIC, so I went with the chocolate cake.
The other choice was cheese cake topped with an Amaretto Sauce.

075

It sure looked good.
The main course was parmesan encrusted chicken breast, roasted new potatoes and steamed vegetable medley...It was delicious!

074

Some co-workers dared me to have my picture taken with Santa.

076

So I did...

Fast forward to after work...

078

I was invited to crash a Christmas/Birthday Party.

I must admit that my wardrobe is limited when it comes to, "I'm going to have a drink with the girls attire."

When I stopped stressing about it and just went with the flow, I think I did pretty good.
I felt good any way.

All in all we had a nice time!

  1. Great post. I love that red bag. How cool is it that you met Santa? If you got his number, ask him to bring me an iPad.
