I wore this dress on my birthday when two of my friends and
I went out to celebrate.
It went PERFECTLY with some strapy southwestern printed
sandals I came across, {right on trend for the summer might I add}, that I decided fit the occasion.
We took pictures indoors. But unfortunately the lighting was
awful and no matter how I edited, they could not be helped.
I was determined to take some pictures in this dress, but I was
NOT going to traipse about in heels on a
Sunday afternoon only to go and do some schoolwork.
So I dressed it down with some flat sandals and a utility
vest.
Just as I completed the look, I remembered this AWESOME
clutch, which added a bit of pizzazz to the look with the animal print, a pop
of blue and by pulling together the neutrals I chose.
It was soooo hot while I was shooting these photos so I
eventually ditched my vest {only putting it back on when I was safe in an air-conditioned
environment}. I will Definitely be pulling
this baby out to wear again this summer.
Even if it’s not my birthday!
